Thanks for the HU - I'm always looking for good panels to mate up with other models!

Sorry to Bounce this NON British Classic thread up again , but it seems someone at Eastern virtual is releasing paints for the three holers - Delta Classic widget, My favorite the Piedmont Pacemaker and New Fedex (I would like to see the original
Fedex colours on a 100 though) They are available at Avsim ..heres a little taste :)

An old friend - this aircraft went on to become N29KA with Key Air in the mid 80s - I spent sometime in the jumpseat of this one.

The Fedex ones I took screenies of going from LAS to SCK this evening using real time weather - a lot of smoke from
fires in San Bernadino made the sunset rather splendid.

Techy

What makes it superior to the CS model is its free and a certain young gentlemen had his hand in it

As the thread says with the Probst panel and a good JT8D sound set to my mind its superior to ALL

payware. Having spent probably half of my working life around three-holers This one is as good as it

gets - the onoly way it could get better is with a true working Cargo model and working Omega :)

Ive scanned in my Key Air Checklists and EPR and ATOG sheets so I can fly the beastie as IRL :)

Oh yes the 1011 ranks way up there as well :)

Mr. Cantu has always been a stickler for getting it right. I took over 100 images of the aircraft's workings for him including pictures from the -100, -200, the "Super '27" in both passenger and freighter form. As it was, I had to take about half of them twice to fully suit his desires. Having worked under the wing of 727s while fueling, I can tell you that when you do the same on his aircraft, you really have a hard time telling the difference between the sim and the real thing.

He used the same level of detail on the DC-10s, L1011s, and A300s. He's the first to actually model and animate the flap supports, tracks, *and* shuttles, and he did it using far fewer polys for the whole airplane than anyone (including CS and DreamFleet) could.

I am biased because I helped him, but I also own both the CS and DF models as well, so I have seen all 3 up close, and still prefer Erick's airplane with Richard's panel & the JT8D sound set appropriate for the aircraft (I use the SGA DC-9/MD-80 sound sets as they were designed by Erick to work for both the DC-9 and 727 and sound quite good).
