British airfields for FSX?

Post by Quixoticish »

I've re-installed FSX and have it pretty much cracked performance wise, however I'm really missing UK2000 and the stock airports are awful. I don't suppose there has been any decent FSX airports/airfields in the UK released that anyone is aware of?

There are a few Channel Island ones, Jersey, Guernsey etc which are quite good. The UK2000 stuff is being updatedlieve there will be a few released tail end of Q3.

The Military AI guys (can't remember their proper name WOIA maybe,) have release a few excellent UK Military airfields, and UKMIL are working on some which I'm really looking forward to.

Other than that there is the recent Scotflight Vol1, which has the Highlands of Scotland well covered, but other than that nothing particularly good that I've seen. Would be interested to know if anyone else has found some.

I noticed that Brawdy but it's got me scratching my head a little. To get it to work it requires "Scenery/Object Files from the Runway12 library available on Avsim and Flightsim.com" (I can find lots of different libraries for Runway12) and also the "UK add-on scenery library available at http://www.vfraddons.co.uk" (I've browsed the website and can't seem to find it).

Am I just being a little dense?

Nevermind, further reading of the readme has sorted things out.
