Looking great there David. I must say that I have always loved the ticks and crosses type checklists. Nice one mate! Must have taken a good piece of your time to realise this VC after studying the screenshots closely. Can't wait :tab:

Hi, Im new to the forum and would first like to say that I am really enjoying flying these Classic British jets.

The manuals are easy to follow, and Im even using the INS succesfully in the VC10.

I just have one small problem, in the Comet you are advised to set quite a bit of pitch trim for t/o, but I cant find dial on the Comet panel and I have looked for it HARD. Is it the same dial as used for setting vertical climb? I am unable to dial a value in until the AP is engaged. Or am I just being a bit blind?

Hi Johny

No you're not being a bit blind, there is no trim indicator on the Comet panel.
For takeoff, you can use the popup checklist to get the trim about right. Adjust it until the tick appears.

The Comet VC update will have indicators for trim next to the trim wheels. And 2D equivalents on one of the popup windows.

They are indeed. My fave is DMs Trident, the accuracy of the autopilot panel and indicators, along with the stunning reproduction of the rather complicated HSI indicator is fantastic - - just so much like the real thing! And the autoflare and autoland features are also faithfully depicted - great stuff! :welldone:

Thank you DAVID!! I am looking for the new VC ! My forthcoming (I hope) winter evenings have a sense, now.
It seems sabsolutely crazy but in my modest opinion , the DH 106 Comet is THE ULTIMATE JET LINER! :welldone: :yipeee:
