Looks like Dan has done a stunning job.

I'm hot a big F.3 fan though, much prefer the real Tonka's... the GR's ;-)

Tks for the HU Trev. As I'm currently bedecked with the DSB F3, Iris GR4 and Lago GR4.. I really can't justify getting another one. Will have to see what happens when I finally move over to FSX :worried:

There are a few glaring model and texture errors that I can see but if they tidy those up it should be an absolute peach, if only for having both cockpits modelled. I'm sure I'll buy this one anyway so I'm saving myself the deliberating and just resigning myself to the fact that the credit card will be taking a bashing when it's released; again assuming the errors that are shown in these pictures are fixed.

I'm dubious about "true to life flight dynamics" but I can always tweak them myself.

Chris,

All due respect.. I can't fix the errors if I don't know what they are and you don't post on the Alpha forums to tell me so ;)

Also forgot to add. RE the display paints- they most probably will not be going out with the release. Those paints are something I did for fun that I'll probably release to Avsim et all. I'd rather let repainters do those sorts of schemes! tonka

Forgot something else too. If errors are bought to my attention then they will get sorted. I want this Tonka to be perfect because for a long time, I've wanted a perfect one. So it means as much to me as a sim thing as it does a financial thing.

TBH Jason.. I don't know how you manage to have the patience to paint one livery (or a dozen liveries) for multiple models as it is!! Hat's off to ALL painters ;-)

Indeedy, it's the repainters that make up a good 60% of the whole scene.

The Tonka has been sorted so that paints can be really detailed. The squadron patches also have thier own bitmap so that the suits can be customised easily, to match!

I've changed a few things now based on critique and so on.. the colours are different (not so much spec) and the lighting is altered.

Thanks for your interest chaps!

Dan.
