Strange one this.

Looking at the error message, FS9 did not like a Dash 8.gau, so I removed it and hey presto! All is well.

Thankyou for your outstanding work Dave.

I think it is just the names of the bitmaps have changed...

They should be OK it renamed

Check the read-me, DM has put in tool to re-name older re-paint textures!Clever chap that he is

A real classic and she looks stunning thanks David re "FS9 crash could be almost anything.
Usual favourite will be the sounds & an Audigy 2ZS sound card."
Yes your right I have that card and despite latest drivers I get the PC howling and then rebooting.. I thought it was the missus as she once made a sound like that. I have trouble remebering that far back though :o

Thanks everyone.
Not had any other reports of any nasty goings on, so all seems well.

Garry

Your not wrong  ,mind I had to have three goes at it RTFM to get the texture to work, but all is now well.

Now I need to work out hot to start the thing :drinkers: more caffine...

Cheers again Garry.

Oh WOW!!!! This Comet is absolutely brilliant Dave!! :welldone:

Thought I would take a quick test flight in her but in hindsight.......quick was a bit of an understatement

Three hours later of circuits, climb to height, not to mention playing with the co-pilots seat  the wife got a bit impatient when she asked if I could do a quick job and I replied in a minute.......One hour later!!!.......... :worried:

By the way I have noticed that when switching on the autopilot power switch it takes some time before the ready light illuminates to say the autopilot is ready for use.....If I remember correctly when once taking a look inside the cockpit of an Argosy, which had a similar auto-pilot an engineer was testing the autopilot channels and that took some time to come on line. Also (if my memory serves me right) when he selected the rudder, ailerons and elevators the channels lights by the switches used to flash approximately three times before connecting.

Again, many thanks Dave for this magnificent aircraft.

Nigel.
