Flight Tutorial for Rick's HS748??

Post by barryward12345 »

I have searched eveywhere - so I don't believe there is one. I have been reading and working through the manual and checklists - but am finding it hardgoing. I can only put that down to advanced age!!

This is a brilliant freeware a/c - it really has a "feel" about it - the quality of the VC and sound package alone are enough for me to place it in the "must have " category.

I have managed to start it and get it off the ground - but would love a bit of assistance in the form of a flight tutorial. Anybody know of anything around??

Thanks

Barry

Hi Barry and welcome to the forum

I agree that Rick's 748 is the business but I've never seen a flight tutorial for it. There is a few hints and tips in the CBFS VA forum regarding settings for climb and cruise etc etc.

Barry
As we "speak" i and an old mate who used to fly the 748 for Mt Cook airlines have just started doing a tutorial..........slow going , as he is hard to pin down and Im just plain slow. :doho:
I agree, the 748 from Mr Piper is just magic :prayer: , i lose all track of time when I,m in that VC..........It is also worth looking at Andover.......and some nice repaints for that are around as well.
I have no doubt someone will beat me too it, but we will get it out there asap, and hopefully it will add something to a great bit of work.

And welcome to the forum , nice to someone else from below 20' south

Hello and Welcome Marty

If you get something done for the 748 there are a group of folks over at Classic British FIles who would love copies of it

I think it's appropriate. Glad to hear that there is still progress on the 748 tutorial. Should help expand the base of those flying them.
