I managed to find the picture, sadly across two pages in Wings across the World. It was the first one, as modeled here by Jens, and it flew straight up the river from Rochester in august '28 to sit outside the Houses of Parliament for three days for MPs to crawl over it. Of course Imperial were trying to get subsidies out of the government to start flying boat services round the UK. The Calcutta did fly between Liverpool and Belfast on an experimental service in September '28, run for the Liverpool Organisation that was campaigning for an airport.
Well done Jens, only "Golden Hind" has escaped your modelling of Imperial Shorts flying boats!!
