I'll try to work something out.... unless of couse you'd like to.... nah.... ;-)

You know me well Dan  Those shots above look more like it!! Not a Scarebus or BA World Tail in sight :welldone: I'll have a look at what I currently have installed on this pc (the one we jobbed) and see what can be moved over to the FS pc. Is it really necessary to remove ALL installed traffic.bgl's as some are only specific to a location (eg.. Tribangers and VC10's doing ccts at Brize.. Falcons and Tonkas/Hawks hitting RAF stations)?? All I want to get rid is the default rubbish and replace it with something more stylish :partyman:

Garry: I'm not sure CalClassic has made accurate flightplans ;-)

This is for starters, to fill the skies. If I get around it, I'll replace the flightplans with those from RetroAi.... but for the time being it'll work.

Dave: Just the traffic you want. So what is necessary or not, really depends on what you want :-)

And mind you, before we start (and it shouldn't take so long this time) tell me if it is for FS9 or that other wonderful sim ;-) Or even both?

I believe you already have all the files at hand, otherwise it is just a few ones needed from CalClassic. (and not original flightplans as just mentioned)

I'm free this very evening, and if memory serves me correct Wednesday is you day off? ....

Punishment or not.. I've bodged my way to this point..

I don't see half as many aircraft at the UK2000 EGLL as I did with Manfreds 1960's version (good job really as I now have traffic banged up to 90% and it stutters like something posessed.. even with a third of the aircraft and no statics!) but my bodge appears to have worked. The downside is, my aircraft folder resembles a Chinese telephone directory :o

I have to say those shots with the 'old' AI do look like a cartoon :-# , blurry scenery and un-realistic airports.
I am still not conviced. |-)
This is what FS9 has been raised to since its release, and it will continue to be my preferred sim until FSX improves 10 fold!
Please compare these shots and see which ones Walt Disney would be ashamed of

All this vintage AI and detailed scenery, steady at 26FPS....worth every penny ;-) Oh in case people think I have cheated, these are all screenshots, no 'photo shop' was used at all, but I did turn down the colour to make the Lancastrian look 'period' in style.
This one is FSX, same artist, different pallet!
