Re: Non responsive engines
Cheers guys - another top tip (s) to bear in mind! (Having said that I very rarely bother opening doors and stuff - which possibly explains things!)

Re: Non responsive engines
I set up a key combination to reload the aircraft without even leaving the cockpit screen. That said - it works sometimes and sometimes it doesnt. Sometimes it works on a second try. I know this from tinkering with panels - sometimes my changes show and sometimes they don't. I suppose you could say it's a sometime thing (boo, hiss). When it doesn't work I resort to reloading the aircraft from the main FS menu and that always works.

This may help - Rob Barendregt made a gauge called Selection Correction. It's an xml file you drop in the gauges folder and once the gauge is added in the panel.cfg file, and it corrects many of the problem with doors and what-not not opening as they should, as well as getting stuck with one engine selected.
If you have the gauge installed, hitting the 'e' key will select all engines.
It's up on avsim, the file name is rcbse-10.zip
Hope this helps,
Chris
