Out with the new in with the old

Post by VEGAS »

Just taken the mighty Brabazon for a test flight departing Filton (naturally!) and headed out over the Severn towards the Bristol channel into the welsh valleys and back again. What a lovely old girl she is. Well done Jens. :)

How many folks on the ground would be looking up in amazement at her?

Its the old FSDS prop texture issue that we've seen before with some of Rick's early betas. The cloud textures are drawn in front of rotors and props etc in FSX. :dunno:

Ah.. rgr that Ben. I have to say that the last shot (nose on) looks a treat.. would have been great as a jet ;-) On the other hand.. those puny prop shafts look.. (I'll leave you to fill in the necessary rude word) :worried:

Well spotted Dave. Its not just the Brabazon that has an issue with prop textures. Most of the Aircraft within FSX that have props display the same problem when seen against a cloudy backdrop.(as Ben stated) I think the problem stems from GenX.
