Kevin.. a slight miscalculation. Having just looked at my shots, I seem to have taken.. er.. 968 I honestly can't decide what to post so may end up leaving this to you then throw a few in at the end
EDIT I have chosen ONE shot.. and that now sits nicely as my desktop..
If anyone fancies an 1152x864 copy (my screen res), they can get it HERE
Of course.. the copy is 'icon free' ;-)
Very nice desktop Dave. Lots of detail eg air vents visible.

Know what you mean!
I knew I shouldn't have bought those two 8Gb memory cards, especially with my camera set to 5FPS (about the same as FSX before SP1 ).
Cheers

A wish granted, many thanks. The range of 'poses' is much appreciated and very informative.
I have to say that the 'Ace of Diamonds' markings is most attractive but the markings shown on this acft are not my favourite rendering of the 'ace.' This is due partly to the positioning of the demarcation line between grey and 'sky' and the card being outlined in black. My favourite is the very first scheme with a complete fin in 'sky', which has sometimes been called 'duck egg green', the dark sea grey at the nose running along the top edge of a non-outlined card with the fuselage division line between dsg & sky sweeping up from the 'pen nib' faring to the leading edge of the fin terminating just below the 'acorn' fairing on the fin.
The front cover of "Warpaint No. 28 Haker Sea Hawk" illustrates the above markings well with acolour photo.
However, the Sea Hawk, had awonderful range of FAA, German Navy and Indian Navy schemes in its long life. The acft is so beautiful that it would look atreat in in 'primer.'
Good evening Hobby...quality pictures of 908.I just want to set the record straight mate..there is no sky finish on this aircraft. The exact colours are Polyurethane Desothane 8300 Extra Dark Sea Grey, upper surfaces and Gloss White, lower ones.We used Sky on the Firefly (RIP) I was the in charge of the Paint Shop at Yeovilton from 98 to 2005,i have pictures start to finish of tasks we undertook during this period,if you would like any,let me know.
Nice shots there Kevin like the F-16 and the shot above of the Classic Flights C-37/DC-3 I see some freelancers aswel in that shot :o Just wondering is it Royal Navy pilots that Fly the Sea Fury Sea Hawk?

To answer your question.. yes. It is generally serving RN or ex-RN that have anything to do with the RN Historic Flight, much the same as it is with the BBMF ;-)
I'm glad 2pac confirmed that, as I was about to chip and say that the under surfaces are clearly not 'sky'. Any idea why sky wasn't used on this one? I agree with Hobby though in that the SH is a lovely old bird (I'm a sucker for straight-wing a/c) and it's a lovely sight to see one up and about. I may as well let it out that I have started work modelling a SH now, and will try to knock out several versions including early F.1s with the rounded nose cone along with any requests. Bear in mind this my first project though!!! :o
