This is probably a typical newbie thread, and I expect I'll get a variety of answers but what addons (free or pay) do people recommend for classic brit flying?
Not so much aircraft (why did they name the folder airplanes!), but scenery and other utilities.

Re: Recommendations
I recommend the following addons and ask you to bear in mind that I only run FS9 not FSX:
For Navgation and Flightplanning: FS navigator 4.7
For archived or current weather: Active Sky 6.5
For ATC: Radar Contact 4.?
Fs Roads and Rivers of Europe by Just flight
Pilot's FS Global 2005 for topography throughout the world.
All of the above are payware and have their own websites.
There is some very good freeware scenery available at variesd sites with http://walhalla.mine.nu/Fs2004 being a very good starting point.
Hope that helps.
We usually try to recommend freeware but sometimes expenditure can be rewarding and the above is a collection that i have built up over the years.

Without hesitation, Peter's superb Mcleland field, and of course Glacier Bay v2 - astounding.

Re: Recommendations
I get the impression by referring to the airplanes folder that decapod is FS.X

We must have another drink some time :drinkers: it's been a while.
