FS2004 Europa XS

Post by biplaneflyer »

Nobody seems to have mentioned this so:-

Over at flightsim.com:-
Name: euroxs.zip Size: 2,211,068 Date: 10-16-2007
FS2004 Europa XS tricycle gear two-seater tourer. One of the most popular kit built aircraft in the world (over 600 kits sold) with a sparkling performance, long range, good baggage space, quite aerobatic, quickly and easily disassembled, and, to say the least, very good looking. Includes 2D/3D cockpit. Aircraft and All by Frank Elton.

It's a British design anyway. Perhaps not the greatest model -but might make nice AI! Understand someone's doing the original monowheel Europa - notice Chris Eve's done a AI model -but think this is someone else.

Not sure if it was the trike or the single wheel version that was being built in the series 'An Aircraft is born" but it was an Europa

[quote="DaveB"] Hi BPF :) As per.. you've managed to unearth another oddment :) quote]

Well I suppose a successfully produced British light aircraft is an oddment these days :) .
It's a pity we seem to be able to design innovative light aircraft in this country but not manufacture them in great numbersi.e. FLS Sprint, Farnborough F1, AMFMagnum, ect.
