There was a model railway in a toy shop in the town here
It was a mecca for small boys just to go in a watch
Long time closed now and few remember the shop in any detail but they all rememeber the railway

Yeah I remember a toy shop like that from my youth too. They had a big display in the window and three pushbuttons on the window ledge outside so that you could run one of the three active tracks. There always seemed to be a greasy smear across the window at kiddie nose height too for some reason! :gigle:

The RAF Gaydon info stuff is still in the museum near the stairs/lift area.
