Only once have I been that close and I got even closer. I remember the smell so well.

Buy yourself a ticket to Vegas on Virgin in Novemeber and I can but you alot closer not to one but about a dozen that will
be at Aviation Nation at Nellis AFB

Ha ha.. that's actually where I was meant to be tomorrow.. but sadly the job got cancelled. But I might be transiting through again... but not until December

The smell is one thing....but the noise is terrific inside. Cant see how those brave boys went all the way to Berlin and back with just a cloth headset on. On my first Mustang flight I took my helmet off just to see how noisy it was. Never did that again!!!
