Good morning, this is my first fast run down the runway to get the feel of the controls. Could the "Continental" be a MATS fin marking? If so the only MATS subject I can think off which has not been made yet for FS9 is the C74.

except I cannot find a photo of a Globemaster 1 with deicing boots or even black leading edges on the vertical fin

and there are two photos of it on Airliners.net

DC7B is out too there are 2 photos of Delta DC7Bs from the early 60s at A.net

The Constitution was Lockheed and I think was natural metal throughout it's life :think:

As usual thats what I get for typing posts at work - yes I was aware it was built by Lockheed - however it is one of the few aircraft for that period that doesnt show up on A.net

Actually the Constitution was a little prior to the early 60s.

The Globemaster would fit with his previous 'Berlin Airlift' themes, not sure now about that VOR aerial though An 'Old Shakey' Mk2 has been done, so I think the rare Mk 1 is unlikely.

Would I love to build a Globemaster I? You bet!! After failing to complete a 1/72nd scale model some years ago. Anybody happen to have any scale plans?

This present model was also originally conceived of as a modified (Heller) kit and never got finished either.

A DC-7B, I notice, is available on Tom Gibson's California Classics site. Is Tom a member of this forum? I seem to remember him using an interesting signature bmp...

Here's a little bit more than just one miserable propblade. Even with using Walk and Follow (a lovely utility that allows you to capture all sort of unsual angles in FS) I am having trouble keeping the more obvious objects hidden.

I think Garry may have got this, Heller made a Connie kit, but never a Convair of any sort that I know about.
Odd aircraft and one I know little about, a turbo-connie, did it ever fly?

I think there were a couple Trev.Alisons like the C-130A I think.
