A matching pair would be complete with the Scottish Aviation Concord. :)

Never heard of it? Well take a pressurised civil fuselage and add all the other gubbins from a Liberator and Snip, Bob's your Auntie. Don't know why it never got off the drawing board, apart from lack of money etc.

Time I got back to my painting lines on cursed MS models. :worried:

Like the pyramids, I'm getting there. Mind you I don't think they had to paint them.

Cash was always desperately tight, in fact one of the Factory buildings started life as the Palace of Engineering at the 1938 Empire Exhibition in Bellahouston Park, Glasgow.

What a delightful aeroplane - looks good, sounds good, flies good - and it was built locally!

Upon re-reading the documentation, I notice that there is another rare British aeroplane in the works, and I feel that a little speculation could be in order...

Assuming it's not Cunliffe-Owen's infamous flying wing (which was given to the Free French as a personal transport for de Gaulle, but failed to crash) as it was an American design, is there another twin, same period, rare, locally built, and with Indian connections?

Of course there is! Could http://www.portav.co.uk/Downloads/PAAerocar.pdf be the answer?

Ooooo I'm in love! :kissu: ;-) The Aerocar is a thing of beauty! :) That would be fantastic if Pete or someone else would build an FS version of the Aerocar.
