Lottery Blues...

Post by VEGAS »

Hi all,

Well I'm pretty gutted having had a 'premonition' that I was going to win the National Lottery triple roll-over this evening, I ended up with 2 numbers. :@

Back to work on Monday I guess. :flying:

Having done the lottery for the last few yrs I have never had anything more than 3 numbers which returns a life changing £10.00! I am tempted to put the £1 stake in a jar every week and spend it on my good lady at the end of the yr.

Anyone here won decent dosh?

I seem to remember that when the lottery first started back in 199-whatever, loads of my friends and myself won a tenner  In fact everyone we knew won something...

Since then of course they've weighted the balls to prevent consecutive numbers constantly coming up...

Roger Moore raised eyebrow........

Remember the Lottery's old slogan ' It Could Be You' ? I remember the press carrying a picture of John Major buying a ticket to publicize the first ever draw. Private Eye put it on the cover with the caption 'It won't be him'.

It just summed up Major perfectly; a stroke of genius.

HI Eddie,
on the note of beleving your bound to hit it.
a few weeks ago I was in a store getting my morning coffee. A woman in front of me went to pay her bill
and pulled out her cash, I noticed she had a hundred dollar bill and a twenty, I dinlt want to be nosey ..... she opened the money from being folded
and I saw two single Bills (one dollar bills), I was taken back a bit I new I had about the same amount of money by coincedence.
so I pulled mine from my pocket and sure Enough . the Exact Amount A hundred A twenty and two singles
I said . excuse me I don;t mean to be nosey but I have the same amount on me laughing.... she gasped oh really! what a coincedence that is
I said gee we should play the Lottery
so We did , Cash Three is one of the games so we played that
the number 122 for 122.00 that we had,
we played it both ways straight if the number come straight in a line and Blocked incase the nubers came up but not in order.
...alas Only two came up ....
218 where the numbers , dang it
but still it was funny , we both got a kick out it and It probably will never happen again in my life. so interesting enough.

look here is some dosh

this is a note that no one would be allowed to have here (or anywhere)
it was only used for transfering money from one mint to another...

don't spend it all in one place now.
