Thank you Peter and Rich - Im just a bodger but it is so much fun = Im now up to about 500mb of scenery bmp files and just learning how to collate them so I can find them quickly - Im really surprised at the amount of "stuff" there is available - ALthough PortaK(C)abins still allude me ;) I have as blister hangar and sailplance trailer set up for Ashaig and I figured out how to make
a tarmac taxiway look like a road surface so I can continue you out to the main road there - Fences are NOT fun to do - (Peter I dont know how you had the patience to fence the whole of Mcleland Field ;) ). Thanks for the hold short tip - I figured I would populate my own little airstrip with some GA traffic. I like the Landrover and Im really tempted to park a Jaguar XK120 outside the house ;)

Again thanks to all for the advice - it helps so much

Thats along the lines Graham :)

looking at the shots of Ashaig there are two of them one apparently used by the SAR helicopters and another which looks to be an adjunct to the hangar - where did you find them - Ive just spent two hours going through all the scenery stuff I have looking for something suitable

Made using NovaSim, placed roughly to give an idea at Driff. Textures courtesy of Stevo.

"Old fashioned api" I'm afraid. Can't get mthis old head round Gmax or FSDS.

Its on the way - and probably Lympne before its over
- Do Lympne Leif (and Portsmouth? :kissu: ) and I'll change the 1967 flightplans to reflect this!

Tim.. we already have a makeshift Portsmouth courtesy of PeteP. It's a very basic AFCAD but more than suitable as a destination and we use it on the VA ;-) We use it to link with Croydon plus Shoreham via Bembridge and Sandown and Bembridge-Soton :)

Hi Tim,

As DaveB says, we have a 'Pompey' scenery available for us HERE.

Thanks for the replies - I'm not having much luck at 'good ideas' tonight - what with the Twotters :)

Richard Wright has told me tonight via email that he has done a Lympne Leif!!!!! :prayer:

I will change the UK1967 flightplans to reflect the addition of these airports but it will be a fortnight at least before you see anything as I am away off island from Monday first thing. Going sarth for some real CHEERS - rather than the Gnats p*** they try to pass off up as 'beer' here :)
