FSX/MS Ranting thread.

Post by DanKH »

Hi All

Instead of spreading out the rants on FSX all over the forum, and infecting nearly all recent active threads, I have now opened this thread which single purpose is to hold all ranting of FSX.

Then perhaps we could leave the rest of the forum free of it, and those who want can go here and rant or "unrant" as they see fit.

And with those few word I hereby declare this thread for open season on FSX/ACES/Microsoft. Go ahead and rant you trousers off.

A most suitable place to use the 'Mark Topics Read' button ;-)

I can't see any need for a separate thread tbh. There are those that love it and won't be dissuaded and those that dislike it and won't be dissuaded so why prolong the agony :dunno:

I wasn't trying to prolong anything Dave, it is just an ironic way of saying that I think that many issues turns into bashing either FS9, FSX, MS or ACES, maybe a silly thing....

I like the idea of a separate thread, then all the whining etc. can be kept in one place (much like sitting next to a pilot). To be honest if FS annoys you that much why not try X-Plane which at least is designed to be modable from the outset rather than using a set of slightly arcane tools.

TBH I think FS.X bashing will still come up on the individual threads.

Dan

Your Flynet sig shows you as a senior captain with stacks of hours flying the mighty ten.
But you're never seen flying VA these days. Someone's even taken your favourite plane back to homebase.

FSX seems to have grounded you. You really should come on back to a proper flightsim :)

Unfortunately the "grounding" is because of real life situations at the moment, that doesn't allow me all the time I would like. And if I get the time, it is on crazy hours.... :-(

G-ASGK works splendid in FSX, and so does the FlyNET-client.... If you only new the amount of times I have been in the start-blocks......

But that's a completely different story, and probably one that will last some time...... but I'll be there again. and hopefully G-ASGK will be there for me... just a few more flights and she will have completed 100 flights...
