ooops, yup FS9, Windows Vista, AMD Athlon 64X2 5000+ 2.6 gig. Memory RAM 1918 MG GeForce 6150SE nForce 430.
All the other Classic British planes, 111, Trident, Vickers VC10 have their full VC textures...!

You haven't by any chance bought any of these aircraft have you?
Re: Comet VC Textures
Here's an idea, somebody delete this thread, and I'll go delete the Comet

Re: Comet VC Textures
Hi Allen
What Dan is pointing out is that there is no VC in out VC 10 so perhaps you are refering to the payware VC 10 and even the Payware Trident.
The Comet VC textures should show OK.
Are you saying you had the VC textures before your computer crash?

Re: Comet VC Textures
:o :o
That's confused me anyway
Allen.. are you installing 'as per' DM's instructions or are you installing to a temp directory then adding the folders to where you think they should be?? It's been a while since I've downloaded DM's Comet so I can't remember if it comes as an EXE file or a plain zip with the folder structure intact. If it's the latter.. simply double-click on the zip to open it and drop each of the folders contained therein onto your MAIN FS9 directory. It will come up with a warning that 'an aircraft folder already exists.. do you want to overwrite it' and exactly the same for all other folders. Click on YES (it won't overwrite the folders at all.. just add the new data to the existing ones.. a perk of M$ NOT DM ;-) ). You should then have all your Comet bits in the right place and NOT suffer a missing VC.
Dan's comment was made on the strength that 'Our' VC10 does NOT have a VC so if your's is working fine.. it'll be the payware one (which.. it has to be said, is mucho inferior).
