Any news of the AFG Caravelle?
Has anyone heard anything?
It's been a couple of years since it was announced.

The last thing I heard was that the package just needed final tweaking, and the documentation had to be completed...this was last October. I've read that one of the main players of the Caravelle project was moving from one country to another so maybe that has slowed things down a bit. Can't wait to fly the finished product.

I thought they were still waiting for the panel? I think it be worth the wait though.

"Can't wait" is a bit metaphoric in this particular case I think. ;-)
I gave up watching a loooong time ago, and settled for just letting me know via the general channels when it's there.....
Frankly I'm not sure it will ever release.... but that's just me. A project that has taken so long must inflict on the members dedication...
A FS9 version might be available when we run FS12....

Hi there,
don't give up on us yet. As some of you may know Esa has gone from being an unemployed Finnish resident to becoming an employed Irish resident. Moving to Ireland, taking up a new job and having been without a working internet connection at his home, has kept him away from finishing the project.
Given time it will be completed, but at the moment I can't promise you when that will be. From what I've heard from him, it's basically a matter of sorting the last few bits of documentation, zipping up files and getting them uploaded. This could be completed relatively quickly from your home PC, if you have to run into work to do it, it gets a lot more complicated.
Again please be patient, we know you're aching to fly her :flying:

Thanks Hakon, having also re-located to a new country, I can apreciate the problems. It seems he has traded in snow for rain! Still Ireland is not a bad place to live if you like getting wet. Perhaps the New Year will bring us a nice suprise.

Thanks for the update Hakon, and congrats to Esa on moving from the ranks of the unemployed to the employed...I wish I knew his secret ;-)
