Thanks for the HU....you can never have enough Harvards....umm thinks should be saying that here, but some reason its the aeroplane for me. I must have fallen out of bed at an early age. The aeroplane has done a lot for me in the last twenty years or so, but now my time is limited to the odd hour a year.

I do like British aeroplanes honest....the Balliol has always been a firm favourite, but now doing a lot of Auster 9 flying, that is probably now my favourite, with the superb handling of the Provost a close second. (flew in a JP once and was a little disappointed, but it was nice to sample both sub-types).

Well . I'd thought the T6 was a important part of British WW II history although
surley not as loved or prasied as the home grown aeroplanes............... and who on earth could find find falt with that??

Such a shame Shuttleworth's efforts to bring one out of Sri Lanka were unsuccessful (and with the current policy probably wouldn't be attempted again). I'd love to see a (Sea) Balliol in the air - something with a Merlin that wasn't a Spit, Hurri, Lanc or 'Stang!
