Hello, I am afraid we're running a little behind schedule, but the Navy texture has been completed (see pic), flight calibration is under way and some mods have yet to be made to the panel.

New PCs for wife and me in the last month or so and have not yet reinstalled FS9 on mine. And a rearrangement of existing PCs and selling bits on eBay is keeping me occupied.
But I have now finished work until the new year so all will be sorted soon

Re: Model recognition contest
Out test flying from Barbers Point to North ISland
It looks spectacular (For a very very plain paint) and its a Hawg - seeing 427 knts GS at FL290 at 75% power
Manfred
to you and your team for an excellent piece of archane aviation.
Not sure where the British folks will fit it in - But it looks totally in place departing the Hawaiian Islands for
San Diego
Manfred - just one question - No rotating beacons ??? The photos of the real thing clearly show
old style rotating beacons top and bottom fueslage aft of the trailing edge
otherwise its gorgeous - goes like excrement of a shovel
Thank you again

Re: Model recognition contest
Could you post that picture, DispatchDragon? All pics I have here show them without beacons, and 38158 on John's picture on p. 4 of this thread doesn't seem to have one either. Of course, they might have fitted them at one point? At any rate, if you're absolutely keen on having them you could mark their position on a sideview screenshot and I'd be happy to get you the coordinates for putting them there.
Best,
Best,
Manfred
