Bristol Freighter in action

Post by VEGAS »

Hi all,

not sure if this has been seen before but came across this on FL350. A lovely bit of restored 8mm cine film from 1963, featuring Garry's baby. Enjoy! :tunes:

Thanks Eddie :)

I posted that on the Freighter thread a few weeks ago but some may have missed it. The clip is part of an Avion video

Also I put up this one that's unrestored but shows a flight in a Mk.21... rare, as although Silver City operated 21 and 32 (they did not have 31's) the 32 are usually the ones that make the rare apperances

Indeed there is Dan. If you can stop yourself being 'tight'.. pop over to Avion and buy the rest of that DVD (Independent Airlines from the 1950's - 1980's). You'll see a lot more of the old girl ;-)

...Also on that DVD, lots of the even more ugly-but-fascinating Carvair.

The Into The Blue film looked familiar to me.......then I remembered this site where you can download good quality films such as this one...all free as they are out of Copyright and in the public Domain. Do a search on the site and you will see plenty more gems to download. ;-)
