OUCH!!!

Post by Nigel H-J »

Trawling through the web came across this wonderful site....Go to the home page to select different airlines that operated the Vanguard.

Don't know whether the crew suffered any injuries but this looked bad after taxying into the control tower!!

Hi Nigel

The link to the actual page does not work but I guess you are meaning the Malta incident with G-AMNY?

Check out G-AMOE it did a similar thing at Liverpool but with only slight damage...hit another Viscount then the building

Hi Garry don't know why the link is not working to that page!! but yes, you are right, it is that one. Just photographs and a bit written below of the aircraft with no further info of the cause.

Still a great site to look around though, plenty of photographs of the era.

Hi Nigel

That site does not support linking to menu items just to the menu page

Hi Nigel

You can also search by C/N (6) or registration but you must click on the side OK box...using the enter key won't work with the reg even though it has the outine indicating it will.
