To Sitka with the Dreamfleet Dakota...

Post by petermcleland »

Sitka is my favourite destination in Alaska and I thought you might like to see the new Piper Dakota on a little navigation trip:-

Rather grotty weather conditions here today as I climb out of McLeland Field.

A much more detailed and long post can be viewed by clicking this address:-

Thanks for looking :flying:

Nice effect of going up into the cloud there Peter.

One of those hard to tell from real shots..if this was not an FS related site then there is nothing to suggest it's not real..........only the brief of this site says it's not

Yes, Jonesey,

I think that snow on the apron looks most convincing, almost fluffy. It would be nice if its switch were automated so that the snow settled on the aprons and taxiways when it settled outside on the general terrain :)
