Hi Dave,

not really "obscure"
This airport is really important on your way from
Heathrow into southeast asia as well as australia
and japan.

But it will need some more airports on the
"silk route"
Beirut and Bangkok as examples

The BOAC route to Australia was:

London-Frankfurt or Rome-Beirut-Teheran-Karachi-Calcutta-Bangkok-Singapore-Darwin-Sydney

But I can´t do all airports.
Need a bit |-) sometimes
Any help is welcome

Best Regards

Wolfgang

Hi Wolfgang :)

Yup.. I should have qualified it by saying 'obscure for me' ;-) I rarely venture outside the confines of Europe on my VA travels but our VA does cater for world travellers in the form of our VC10 fleet. As you know, these flights are long in every sense of the word and I can't divert the amount of time required to fly them (at x1 and I only ever fly at x1) but some of our captains do and this'll be of great use to them :cpu:
