you may well :think: but i had this argument with many during the IRIS GR4 development. the GR Never had autowingsweep, it was added to the F2. Iworked on the F2 at CBY, when it ame into service, on 299 OCU, and it proved so bad, it was inhibited very quickly. the F3 still has it fitted to this day, but it is Still inhibited, and ALL wingsweeps on British Tornados are manual
