Agusta Bell 412 at Hovercontrol

Post by Trev Clark »

There is a very nice re-working of Jordan Moore's Bell 412 at Hovercrontrol now. It's the Agusta with 12 (mainly) European versions and includes 2 Griffons of the RAF. It seems that the model has been worked over as it is easier onthe PC than the original too.

Only drawback is a 60 meg download :o

Many thanks for the HU Trev. Though a Big download at 65Mb!! :o

Just tried it and forgot how difficult it is to fly helicopters even though this one appears to be more forgiving. Absolutely wonderful, the cockpit in 3D is a pleasure to use, a lot of hard work has gone into this.

I am pretty sure that this has been done by others using the source code from Hovercontrol. There is not a great deal of difference on some models, I would have a go at mixing the two.

I have to say that after installing this and having many difficulties starting the engines (couldn't find any documentation), I finally got it into the air...Several times briefly. I couldn't believe that my helicopter flying had got that rusty!

Anyway I loaded Rick's wonderful Sycamore and flew with pleasing precision, while recording the flight, for 45 minutes...Absolutely wonderful!

I'm afraid the new download of 60 MBs went straight into the bin :brick:

Peter, you need to have the original Hovercontrol Bell 412 installed for the documentation. It has the startup checklists and other information needed to fly the AB412 addon.
