This has just popped up on the SOH radar, it's not really great, but will make a super addition to AI, as they often visited the UK. It is about 30% Bristol Britannia too, but with some very noisy engines....perfect for a 16 hour patrol
I did see the thread over at the out-house, but thanks for the AI. She will make a pleasant addition to my AI at St.Mawgan, my local soon to be civilian airfield.
Always liked this aircraft. Does anyone know of a video clip of one, with sound? The sound seems to be what everybody remembers about the Argus, but I've never heard one myself!

I have always liked the look of the Argus, it shows what can be acheived when the customer and provider are on the same wavelength.
I have been trying this beta with DC-7 sounds and also trying a DC-7 panel. Well ,if you close one eye and look at them on a dark and stormy night there is some resemblance. The only problem so far is that although the DC-7 panel works properly on the DC-7 I can't get engine 4 on the Argus to run at all. The mag switch just springs back to off and the cowling gills won't move.

I think there is a problem with eng4 on the DC7-panel (at least if you use the CalClassic one)
Try to take a look over at the CC-forum....

Who's General Failure, and why is he reading my harddisk?
I tried the Argus with another DC-7 panel and still engine 4 would not work. I then checked the aircraft cfg file. This liststhe number of engines as 4 but numbered them 0, 1, 3 & 4. I changed that to 0,1,2 & 3 and all engines now work.
