Thanks for your comments, I am pretty new to trying my hand at screenshots.

Yes I am doing the whole trip. I am currently about 200 miles from Keflavik on the second leg.

I will post more screens as and when I complete each leg.

Great shots ;-)

Be careful of BGBW. Both approaches to the longer runway (7/25) are fraught with danger.. particularly 7 :o 25 brings you in low where you drop down a valley to the runway. If you use FSNav, it'll almost certainly fly you into a mountain if you go for 7 (as I did) so be prepared to disengage AP and fly by hand for the last 30/40miles. Nail biting stuff 25 is the quicker option by some 15mins and is a LOT less dangerous ;-)

I'm currently bringing our stragler Lancastrian and 2 Yorks to Canada from their original delivery positions (KORD/KJFK) so I may see you enroute for a beer :drinkers:

Thanks and cheers for the warning about Narsarsuaq, i am just climbing out of BIKF at the moment so I shall find out soon enough.

OK here is the latest in the travels of CF-TKE. I have now made it as far as GBGW and yes Dave you were right, Runway 7 is not the nicest. Surprise of all surprises though, I was flying with FS9 ATC and they did not in anyway try to fly me into the ground
( maybe they were having an off day ).
However I did manage to land quite reasonably on R7 although I was lucky that the frozen wasteland to the side of the threshold took the weight of the L/H gear quite well...... :doho:

Glad you made it safely down Andy ;-) The old saying 'It's not quite the @rsehole of the world but you can see if from here' doesn't apply there does it because you're there

I thought we had 1 Lancastrian and 2 Yorks over here and I found 1 Lanc and 4 Yorks here Dunno if I'm gonna have the patience to get em all back home as 1 particular leg x 5 equates to over 35hrs flying time :o (note to John.. can we not do this anymore please)..

The middle of nowhere sums it up alright, oh and cold could also be the case. -30 according to active sky and FS this morning so luckily I'm now heading west on my leg to Gander.

As for the Yorks, I'd quite happily volunteer for ferry duties, however a lack of a type rating, and no York installed on my system means that i can't be of any use as usual

Maybe I should try flying one of these piston powered things one day.
