AlphaSim's TSR2

John

Ps Does anyone know if that rather nice looking SimShed TSR2 will be released? I know the circumstances have changed, but I was just wondering.

The TSR2 is my favourite aircraft of all time and that is a stunning screenshot!

I did see an early beta of the simshed one, I know a chap who was doing some beta testing with it, so I had a chance to fly it while visiting him last year (actually no, it was 2006)

At the time the Alpha one was significantly better. :worried:

I'm toying with the idea of attaching that trolley to the back of the bike and disappearing with it one day  Internally void of anything useful I'm afraid :-(

Brian was having a devil of a job porting the monster from FSDS2 to FSDS3 which is one reason why the project stalled. I quite liked the Simshed model as it happens.. even in beta. It still went like sh1t off a shovel but mere mortals like me were able to land it with the minimum of fuss. Come to think of it.. the Sea Vixen carries some of the same traits.. unsurprisingly

Dave.....Attach it to your bike and take it home.....thats a great platform for a homebuilt cockpit.....

You could put a screen in front.....set up some controls....put a bone dome on....shut the canopy...and up up and away..... :dancer:

Hmmm.......wonder if my old Escort could tow it......

Well if the sea Vixen if anything to go by (I've flown Glen's.. but his rig is better than mine) the TSR2 would have been a lovely model.. still maybe one day :-)
