Re: SM.79 anyone?
Tony,
Why add the lebanese insignia to the transport version ? 2 of the 3 ex Italian Air Force "Lebanese" SM-79 still with us (in the Rome AMI museum and in Trento, Caproni Museum) arrived from Lebanon (and still are, perfectly restored) in the bomber version , with bomb-aimer gondola and all details present in the bomber marks of WWII.
The Trento Sparviero has been put on display still in its lebanese colors because (as the previous one) was a gift from their Government , and both planes should have been displayed as Lebanese for at least a 10 year period.
Franco from Milano, Italy

Kikko,
just for your information: even the third S-79 is in Italy, but , unfortunately, is a wreck.
I think is still preserved somewhere in Pisa
