This is a very good piece of freeware...
...that I found today:-
http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/mweather.html
It downloads all the METARS that you have selected and decodes them into nice English...You can set the Units as you wish them to show. Just clicking the refresh icon does what it says in a few moments. Jolly nice...I've been watching it today on my second monitor with my Mylor Creek in FS9 on the main monitor. Culdrose is nearby and they have had some nasty weather today :flying:

Hmm, very useful I'm watching the snow march down the country towards me!
No FS9 with real weather this evening I think. :flying:

Could be quite good when used with FSMETAR.
Error 482: Somebody shot the server with a 12 gauge.

If you have not done so, you might also find http://www.xcweather.co.uk is worth a look - I use it all the time, both for r/w flying and to keep an eye on the wx generally.

Re: This is a very good piece of freeware...
Thanks for the tip, Peter. I just love flying in horrible weather (flew the Graf Zeppelin in hurricane Rita :o ) and this will make it much easier for me to find the nasty stuff.
