New Camera Picture (More when ive uploaded them)

Post by Chris Sykes »

Heres one of the London Eye today using my new camera, the D40X with the 55mm lens.

This is using the 200mm lens, same position, zoomed in

200mm Lens zoomed out...

The Little Terracotta Army, we didnt get to see the larger real versions, but these are small little ones... 200mm lens inside the British Museum

The British Museum Roof, its just amazing how they got a roof of such design to conform to both the square outer and round shaped central stair case/resterant area... 55mm lens

Nice shot Chris

Beautifully sharp and noticabally lacking in noise.

It has a very moody look to it............monochrome does moods so much better than colour :)

A lot of potential there with that setup

Wow, great shot there! Very atmospheric and if the Eye wasn't there, it could be a still from a 1940's film.

The first shot is excellent (not that the rest are bad). I really like the detail in the clouds, without underexposing the buildings.
The Nikon D40X is a cracking little camera.
Looking forward to some good airshow shots in the summer!

Kevin
