Im experiencing a problem when trying to start engines in vc view. The inverters are on but the checklist is showing them as off, no amount of switching then on and then off changes this. Strangely enough, when going to 2d cockpit view checklist the inverters were showing on ! I toggled them off and on again, went back to vc view and hey presto they were now showing as on and i could start engines. Has anyone else found this and is there anyway around it in the vc view?
many thanks, andy

Hi Andy,
Have not experienced this myself, but I would suggest you look here:

as you may find what you are looking for, if you look in the HS748 support thread on this page
Welcome to CBFsim by the way, perhaps one of the other members will have the answer=

Re: hs 748 inverters issue in vc view
Hi Andy
i have seen the problem your seeing but only when the 748 was saved as the default flight's aircraft.
you must have a default aircraft loaded as the default flight craft before you load the 748.
due to the fact that Fraser had programmed all the systems to expect a clean load.
the other thing i find in FSX is you must load the 2d panel at least once before you try to startup from the VC.
but otherwise no problem.
Hope one of these is a help?.
Regards
Rick

Re: hs 748 inverters issue in vc view
Hi Andy,
Was going to ask what sim you're using, because as Rick says, FSX loads the VC by default unlike FS9 which loads 2D. The VC gauges are in many cases slaves of the 2D with the programming removed to avoid conflicts, therefore if the 2D isn't loaded momentarily many gauges have no starting reference point.
Should be no further reason to return to 2D once it has been initially loaded ;-)
cheers
Fraser

Re: hs 748 inverters issue in vc view
Thanks for all of your replies, i am using fs9 and yes i am loading a default aircraft first and then change to the 748. Will try loading the 2d view first and see what happens, thanks again, andy
