Can anyone tell me whether the AlphaSim Canberra B.2 has glass in the spot view when using FSX or FSX SP1?
I know that it will have glass when using SP2 or acceleration, but I don't use SP2 due to the problems that it causes on many of my older aircraft.
The new Canberra does not have modeled glass textures, so it does not have glass in FSX SP1 (only SP2 or Acceleration).

The Canberra that you have seen on here is a lot better, especially the lighting and lenses, looks more real world than Alpasim's, but that my opinion and its freeware

Chris and Bob,
I asked on their Forum first, but I'm getting no responces, so I thiught perhaps some of you might know.
I agree that the Canberra here is much better, but I tried it and as it does not have any modeled glass textures, there is no glass in the spot view in FSX or FSX SP1. If it had textured glass it would be a perfect Canberra for me.

Hi Bill,
What are the problems your having with SP2? Most folk (myself included) seem to have found it much of an improvement over the previous versions?

Re: AlphaSim Canberra in FSX
Hi Ben, I have a number of older propeller aircraft. The props arc will usually turn black and otherwise look extremely strange (I'm not talking about the well known clouds and prop problem). Also a number of new FSX aircraft a have developed quirks that they didn't have previously and that they did not have in SP1. It's driving the payware people nuts, having to come up with fixes for their sold aircraft.
