Great stuff, when I return to work and get my joystick, I will get in touch! Time to drag the old Wessex out of the hangar!

Tom, you will need to ensure that the other guys have the Wessex installed otherwise they will see a VTOL Cessna on thier screens!
I think that FSX is superb for multi players, I had several sessions before my PC threw a wobbly and will not allow me to re-install it! :brick: Make sure you all get a cheap microphone too, it is much better with voice comms.

Try using the tandem mode, I had great fun with Dave B in a Meteor T7, one navigating and one flying! Here are some shots from last year. My back seat configuration is seen below....

Ah, now there may be a problem.

Were these screens from FS9 or FSX?

I only have FS9

Hi Tom, don't worry, my on-line flying and shots were in good old FS9 :dancer:

Crikey, FS9!!!! It is not so good for MP as FSX, but count me in if you have a session planned.

A CBFS fly-in sounds like fun. If you were to use a FS Host server then both FS9 and FSX users could fly together. I sometimes run a FS Host server for MP beta-testing the Shockwave products and it works well although there are a couple of limitations. FSX users have to use a client app. to join the sever (FS Host Client) while FS9 users can join directly. FSX users also have to run in 'windowed' mode in order to see the text window if it pops up. There is also a small problem for FSX users where AC seem to jump in position slightly when flying in close formation so crash detection needs to be OFF too.

What about keeping it to FS9 for the first one....?

Just to see the amount of interest we get...?
