this one
http://www.bsmp.co.nz/BBoard/viewtopic.php?t=1210

became G-MAUD in Manx service, 'twas named for one Maud Pownall, of the finance department, who was first official 'retiree'
from Manx

The MD had a thing about quirky registrations, like G-MIMA for the 146, and G-WENT for one of the Jetstreams.

I was trying to think or the other original........... G-UIET which was ironical as the ATP is one of the noisier T/P on approach as it has an annoying pitch and quite a buzz to it.

G-ERIN was ex G-BMYK and 'MYL went to Loganair......... I think it was as G-LOGE.
