A 380 En Route

I had my first sighting of Emirates new ( and very shiny indeed) A 380 this morning . At about 1025 it came in eastbound through Wallasey, presumably from JFK and bound either for Amsterdam or Frankfurt or possibly even non-stop for Dubai . Quite a sight - it was difficult to see if it was 2 or 4 engined with the naked eye, which was why I got the binoculars on it - it has noticeably more sweepback than the A 330/340 family, and in fact at altitude bears a resemblance to the C 17 although it is, of course, much bigger
