No not Steve A but Stephen Legg (aka Stevo), if anyone remembers the ukscenery design team that went off line about a year ago, I was a member of that. I released Military airfields in Yorkshire, Perth Airport in Scotland, Durham Tees Valley airport. The whole team from UKSD is now at UKMIL.
The Cranwell scenery is 99% Keith Steadman's scenery (who works at the airfield), I only helped with a few buildings and vehicles. So all credit to Keith.

Re: Cranwell
Hi Steve
You all did a great job.
I am hoping Keith is thinking of an SP2 FSX version as i no longer use FS9.
works ok in FSX but needs a new flatten & some texture tweaks only.
But it's a superb piece of scenery to visit and still good on frames despite being FS9 format which is unusual currently.
Keep it up guys
Regards
Rick

Hi Rick
I've been trying to talk him into it but he doesnt really use FSX at the moment. I might ask him if I can take it on, it should'nt take much to make it SP2\Accel compatible.
we'll see what happens

Along with "at a distance", virtually is probably the best way to see it!Pringle wrote:Never thought I would enjoying seeing Cranditz again!

As my old flight commander used to say 'The best view of Cranwell is through the rear view mirror!'
