Tour of RAF Cranwell

Having downloaded RAF Cranwell from UK Mill and seeing how brilliant it looks not only from the ramps but also from the air. I decided to hire a car and drive around the base, hire car was a Lexus which even came with a driver!!

First point of call was the MT Section for an airfield driving permit.



Then onwards to the main gate.



Now over to ATC for my airfield briefing



Over the far side of the airfield before heading back to tour the base
I was driving the car for the remainder of the tour.













Could have taken many more pictures but since I hired the car for only one day I wanted to make sure I got my moneys' worth from it!!
