Aaah Thunderbirds - those were the days.

I once had the original plastic models - TB2 had a TB4 or a mole inside depending on which one you got and they all had friction drive motors. Sigh.

Their flight dynamics would be interesting, especially the transition from Mach whatever to the vertical landing. I wonder did TB3 use an ILS system to get back through the round house ?? :think:
