Ahar, I read your post wrong. My apologies.

But the idea strill remains- I'm never going to kill anyone for pointing out that my work is wrong. Not anymore anyway lol..

I've just rebuilt the flaps on the B-24. Why is it always at the 11th hour that a much needed photo crops up? Argh.

As fitted to Hendon's (ex-Cosford's ) B-24L, just aft of the port waist position.

Indeed, the VLR ( Very Long Range ...extra fuel tanks in the bomb bay ) Liberator was hugely important for Coastal Command and the Battle of the Atlantic. I'm hoping a Coastal Command paint is not long coming. :)
