Wouldn't the Nick Black AI Jaguar be a far more viable alternative?

Hi Neil..

I do have that Jag somewhere so I'll see if I can dig it out and make it work for ya. I'm a bit busy at the mo but will give it a go over the next couple of days ;-)

Psssst - if you duplicate the file you must change the title=Jag-GR1 to something else. title=AI Jag-GR1 would do.

This may seem obvious, but FS cannot handle two aircraft with the same title. Just another wee thing that can catch you out sometimes.

There is a free utility somewhere called ACA (I think that means Aircraft Analayser) which will identify faults like this and many others. You may be surprised how much AI traffic isn't working. I have just started mine up as I write this and it has immediately thrown up a warning "There are duplicate titles in your [FLTSIM] sections" and told me how to fix it. Obviously I should run it more often!

ACA is a great program. I use it every time I add a new aircraft or a new paint for an existing aircraft. I have caught many typos and other stupid errors with ACA. The version I have is callled ACA2005 and is available from http://aifs.pvdveen.net/index.html

Besides ACA, there are some other utilities on the site that may be of interest.

Neil..

See what ACA throws up but in the meantime, can you send me the traffic file ( dave @ cbfsim.org ) or post the entries here so that the 2 can be compared (the aircraft.cfg and the traffic file) ;-)

EDIT..
Neil, I've dug the freeware Jag out and checked the cfg against yours and it appears to be identical. You must have made a cockup in the aircraft.txt file for the traffic.bgl you're trying to make.. or perhaps in the timing or even your parking. Whatever, the problem lies in the traffic.bgl not with the Alpha model ;-)
