When I did some flying at Denham in about 1964, I don't think it had any runways...I certainly did about 10 hours in a Tiger Moth from there and I only remember grass :flying:
Pooley's shows an asphalt runway there now Peter so perhaps they snuck one in like at Stapleford Their bit has crept up to 600m long now and I'm sure it will reach the full 1077m given enough years
Tarmac runway but grass taxiways. Caught me out when landing there a few years back when told to 'vacate right'...........where? I thought......got to the end of the runway and realised it was all grass! DOH!!

The runways certainly been there a while - as the pilot of the first Blenheim restoration, and John Romain (the helpless passenger) will testify.
From the authentic buildings and realistic textures to the static and AI aircraft and animations
There are some rather randomly 'plonked' static aircraft in those screenies. It would be great if they could ensure that all the AI parked parallel to 24 too, regardless of the runway in use - but I don't know if thats possible ??
Still - its not a bad representation of my spiritual home
