Don't ask me why Trev but I was expecting a submarine.. even though it's with an 'E' rather than an 'A'

Yes, Henry is doing a great job on the little Druine. Another repainter turned modeller...I'm jealous. :-(

Actually, they're both spelt with an "E", Dave. The "A" in the title is a spelling mistake/typing error/finger slip (delete as applicable). ;-)DaveB wrote:Don't ask me why Trev but I was expecting a submarine.. even though it's with an 'E' rather than an 'A'

Re: Turbulant!!!
Used to be two that visited LFC many many moons ago
a yellow one owned by the Tiger Club -- Garry?? G-APNZ?????
and a blue one that was usually in company with a Tipsy Nipper
It struck me a delightful little aeroplane - always amused me that the Tiger Club one was adorned with
two Esso Tiger tails

G-APNZ was a Turbulent and would fit with the Tiger Cub as Norman Jones got a load of them registered ending in 'Z'

Re: Turbulant!!!
Wasn't those registrations ending in 'Z' indicative of Rollason built airframes?.....or was that 'EZ' ones...can't quite remember at the moment.
I was always goint to build a 1/4 scale model of this aircraft for R/C...I have the plan ready too, a delightful drawing by Dennis Bryant.
Will look out for this one to add to the hangar....nice HU Trev. ;-)

I'm surprised that it flies, even with a phantom in the cockpit
