A very nice little project is well under way by 'Henry' of the SOH.

Actually, they're both spelt with an "E", Dave. The "A" in the title is a spelling mistake/typing error/finger slip (delete as applicable). ;-)

Used to be two that visited LFC many many moons ago

a yellow one owned by the Tiger Club -- Garry?? G-APNZ?????

and a blue one that was usually in company with a Tipsy Nipper

It struck me a delightful little aeroplane - always amused me that the Tiger Club one was adorned with

two Esso Tiger tails

Leif

G-APNZ was a Turbulent and would fit with the Tiger Cub as Norman Jones got a load of them registered ending in 'Z'

Wasn't those registrations ending in 'Z' indicative of Rollason built airframes?.....or was that 'EZ' ones...can't quite remember at the moment.

I was always goint to build a 1/4 scale model of this aircraft for R/C...I have the plan ready too, a delightful drawing by Dennis Bryant.

Will look out for this one to add to the hangar....nice HU Trev. ;-)

I'm surprised that it flies, even with a phantom in the cockpit
