Hi Don..

Yep.. I have to admit this sort of thing gets to me sometimes. I get the distinct impression that the only way to get rid of it would be for the model to be revised as it's the model calling for that texture. Could be wrong though as I don't really delve into FSX much

I suppose a quick fix could be just to modify or remove the texture...

That may have an effect elsewhere :dunno:

Hi Garry..

Yep, that might be possible if you know which texture is the glass.. some are obvious and others not so. Does the texture do this itself or is an effect involved too??

EDIT..
Found the offending article. Don, go into each texture folder on the Sea Venom then find and rename a file called Glazing.bmp (I called mine Glazingorig.bmp). You will be rewarded with glass you can see out of

Bu@@er me Don :o OK.. try changing just the texture in the texture folder as opposed to texture.1 2 and 3. I only changed that one and it worked (presumed you'd need to change all the others too) I'd forgotten just how bad it is to see out of that model!

EDIT..
Sri Don, there are only 3 texture folders.. texture, texture.1 and texture.2. I've only renamed the Glazing.bmp in the texture folder (not 1 and 2) and am seeing clearly in all 3 models ;-)

Hi Don..

Another possible fix..
Go into your display settings and turn light bloom off. Mine is off by default and after turning it on, all I saw was white :o Turned it off again and back to nice clear views ;-)

Hee Hee, this is getting painful,
Tried the Bloom effect still getting 'Black' even tried a total restart.
I did not have this trouble on Albion when peering over the sill
