With DaveG releasing a nice BEA paint for the v2 Rapide, it prompted me to do the rest of the Islander fleet for VA use. DG's paint is for AFEZ and the remainder of the paints can be downloaded below..
Many thanks to DG for letting me loose with his BEA masters. These are not intended to be 100% accurate so please don't remind me that this is wrong and that's wrong. They're here to fill some holes for those who, like me, like to fly with the correct reg showing on the outside of the aircraft
I know the feeling mate!! If you find anything blatantly wrong, give me a shout here and I'll do my best to sort it Only downside is.. I managed one flight yesterday and none today  Oh the humanities
Yes um, well.. what are you supposed to do when you get bored with flying Had DG not been totally brill in letting me have his master.psd, this wouldn't have happened so all credit for his work and generosity I'm no painter so I doubt I'll get the opportunity to do this again  If anyone has, like me, bought their own Rapide and would like their personal reg done in BEA Islander livery.. I'll be more than happy to make one for them
DG.. if you're looking in, the master will never go any further though I'm sure you know that anyway
Painting is stretching it a little. The odd move here, a change of text there.. and I think I only PM'd Garry once throughout It's nice to be able to put something tangible back into the system that will live on.. for better or worse. Goes without saying none of the talent is mine.. I'm just lucky to have on tap some of the best folk in the business
I know it's a bit late in the day, \\\i am currently flying GLE on a round robin. Was she an Islander and if so would it be possible for a repaint please as I cannot find one elsewhere?

She was owned by BEA due to her being inherited from RAS.
Sixteen months later she was sold and never had a name so I doubt she was Islander class and seeing it was 1948 when she left the fleet it was well before that livery.
